What Will I Do?
The PADI Freediver courses consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge development about freediving principles through independent study with PADI Freediver eLearning.
- Pool session to learn breathhold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea.
- Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives, plus proper buddy procedures.
PADI Basic Freediver Course
- The first level and your first step into Free diving, the Basic Freediver Course will train and equip you with the skills to perform 90-second static and 25-meters Dynamic apneas.
After completing the course you can then enrol in more advanced levels;
PADI Advanced Freediver Course
- The PADI Advanced Freediver course is designed to fulfill that personal need to refine and improve your freediving skills, allowing you to progress slowly while learning how your body performs during apnea.
The Advanced Freediving Course would train and equip you with the skills to perform 90-second static and 25 meter dynamic apneas, as well as constant weight freedive of 10 metres/30 feet
PADI Master Freediver Course
- If you’re an advanced freediver who wants to learn how to fine-tune your lifestyle and training so that you can approach elite freediving levels, then the PADI Master Freediver course is for you. Through focused sessions, you’ll bring your static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight skills to the next level.
- The objectives of the Master Freediver Course are to reach 3 minutes in static apnea, 70 meters in dynamic apnea and a depth of 27 meters in constant weight apnea.

What Do I Need To Take Part?
To enroll in a PADI Freediver course you must be at least 15 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.
Younger than 15? 12 year olds and older can enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver Course to Learn basic freediving principles and focus on practicing breathhold techniques in a pool or confined water site.
